Upon completion of her Certificate in Legal Practice, Tan Si Ling or more commonly known as Danielle, was offered a position as a Federal Counsel in the Attorney General’s Chambers where she remained from years 2012 to 2016 and was placed in various divisions throughout her tenure in service, including the Privatisation and Contract Manangement Unit Advisory Division, Ministry of Works, Civil Division (Kuala Lumpur Branch) and Employees Provident Fund, HQ. During her time as a Federal Counsel, she advised in the drafting and post-execution advisory of various concession agreements, includes but not limited to infrastructure projects, land acquisitions, procurement for equipment and services for government agencies.

Danielle was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2015. In 2016, she joined Messrs Zul Rafique & Partners focusing in the area of general litigation, construction and infrastructure, and arbitration.

From year 2017 till present, Danielle held and is holding inhouse advisory roles in Amicorp Group (Singapore), Shift Energy Japan KK (Japan & Taiwan) and Toll Global Forwarding (Singapore) Pte Ltd. Her expansive inhouse experience in organisations of varied scale groom her ability to connect with stakeholders and work collaboratively to achieve commercial goals.

She joined S. Mathews & Associates as a partner in their Johor Office withe the primary focus of growing the firm’s outreach in the SEZ, Johor region via her strong commercial network and experience in the real estate space.
